There are
the obvious and very good reasons to have a ceremony such as:
birthdays, graduation, rites
of passage for teens and adults, memorials,
life's big
events. I love to design unique ceremonies for these events.
In addition to these rites of passage I am called to create ceremonies
for more subtle events. At times we
go through a transition that is hard to grapple with or
perhaps diffcult to define, and
a ceremony is a perfect way to get focused on what needs to be
left behind and what needs to be reinforced.
My ceremonies
help you to re-evaluate, get clarity on issues or perhaps get
ideas for a creative project. The ceremony sets forces in motion
to help you reach your goals, successfully manage transition,
celebrate accomplishments, find a new direction, understand your
greater purpose and so on.
New beginnings
is probably the ceremony I am asked to design most frequently.
A letting go is implied and the desire to get started on a new
track is guiding you to make the necessary shift. The ceremony
is cleansing, fulfilling, inspiring, motivating and energizing.
For those
of you who are recovering from substance abuse, ceremonies are
an excellent way to celebrate without alcohol or another induced
high. The cermeony brings you to a level of peace, clarity and
happiness that is profound and really enjoyable.
